Copper Creek near Mammoth Arizona is one of my favorite places to explore. Most of the trails are easily accessible by 4 wheel drive however if you attempt the drive to the Sibley Mansion ruins I would recommend a few inches of lift and at least 1 locker.
It's a beautiful canyon with tons of cool ghost town to explore.
In the fall the colors are off the charts. If you can time your visit for late Arizona fall you won't be disappointed.
I was surprised to see that someone has dozed or graded some of the roads and made them more accessible if you are entering town from the south side. See GPS trek below for coordinates.
